1982年1月南京大学获理学学士学位; 1984年10月中山大学获理学硕士学位; 1987年10月复旦大学获理学博士学位。 1987年11月至1989年6月,中国科学院上海硅酸盐研究所博士后; 1989年7月至1991年8月,联邦德国柏林自由大学结晶学研究所洪堡基金会奖研金学者; 1991年9月至2001年1月,美国新泽西州罗格斯大学,先后任化学与化学生物学系研究助理、研究助理教授、研究副教授,以及高级生物技术和医学研究中心助理研究员和研究员; 2000年11月起,任中科院上海生科院生化细胞所研究员。现任生化细胞所学术委员会副主任,分子生物学国家重点实验室副主任,“中国生物化学与分子生物学学会”理事、“蛋白质组学专业委员会”副主任委员、“蛋白质科学专业委员会” 常务理事;“中国生物物理学会”理事;“中国晶体学会”常务理事;“亚洲晶体学会”常务理事等;中国《生物化学与生物物理学报》、《生物化学与生物物理进展》和《生命的化学》编委、英国《The Biochemical Journal》编辑顾问委员会委员等。

研究方向:
真核基因表达调控的结构生物学
真核生物的基因表达是个非常复杂的过程,在基因转录、mRNA加工和运输、蛋白质翻译等多个层次上受到多种方式的调控。真核基因表达调控的异常会导致细胞的非正常发育和分化,并产生多种疾病包括肿瘤。我们研究组主要围绕真核基因表达调控中的一些关键科学问题,包括基因转录表观遗传调控的分子机制、蛋白质翻译起始调控的分子机制、蛋白质正确翻译和保真性的分子机制、以及蛋白质功能失调与疾病发生和发展的关系等,针对一系列参与染色质修饰、mTOR信号通路调控和生物代谢的重要蛋白质和蛋白质复合物、以及治疗性抗体药物等,运用结构生物学、分子生物学、生物化学、细胞生物学等方法,开展蛋白质的结构、功能及其分子机制的研究。近五年来主持、参与并完成国家、科学院和地方政府的多项重大研究项目。现已在国际重要学术刊物上发表研究论文130多篇,近五年来发表研究论文50多篇,其中包括Science、Nature、Nature Struct Mol Biol、Blood、PNAS、EMBO J、Nucleic Acids Res、J Biol Chem、J Immunol、Structure、Cell Res、Biochem J等。我们的研究工作不仅促进了人们对参与真核基因表达调控的一些重要蛋白质的生物功能、分子机理、结构和功能关系的认识,同时还为探索与这些蛋白质的功能失调相关疾病的发病机理、寻找疾病诊断的新靶标和新方法、设计和研发治疗疾病的药物等奠定了分子基础。
